Applying false eyelashes can feel tricky, especially if it’s your first time. But with a little practice, you’ll master it and make your lashes look flawless every time.
1. Trim Your Lashes
Before applying, measure the false lash against your eye and trim the outer edge if needed. This ensures a perfect fit and more comfortable wear.
2. Placement Changes the Look
Where you place your lash can completely change the style:
-
Close to the inner corner: Gives a full, natural lash effect.
-
Slightly away from the inner corner: Creates a more dramatic, cat-eye effect.
3. Applying the Lash Glue
There are two main ways to apply lash glue:
Option 1 – On the Lash Line (My Favorite):
-
Apply the glue directly onto your lash line, just like eyeliner.
-
This method helps the glue get tacky faster and makes application easier.
Option 2 – On the Lash Band:
-
Apply a thin layer of glue under the lash band itself.
-
Wait 20–30 seconds for the glue to become tacky before applying.
4. Press and Blend
Once the lash is in place, gently press your false lashes and natural lashes together. This ensures a seamless look and prevents gaps.
